Round Dog Bed
There are all types of beds designed for all types of dogs and dog owners. Some people prefer round dog beds, while there are others that prefer square ones etc. Just remember and keep in mind that a dog's sleeping habits are mostly instinctual, and what this means is that a dog bed should go according to the dog’s normal environment. The bed you choose to purchase for your dog should be sized according to the dog's general proportions. If you are not sure about what size is appropriate for your dog, guide yourself by seeing if the dog is able to stretch out completely without its head or legs hanging out of the sides of the bed. (Some dogs do like to rest on their beds with their heads hanging off of the bed but this is only the case of some dogs). The place you decide to put your dog’s bed is also very important; you should avoid placing your dog’s bed in direct sunlight or in places with air drafts. If the weather is hot there are cooling dog beds that can be bought and if the weather is cold there are also special heating beds that give and add a great amount of comfort to a dog. When a dog is sleeping he should feel secure and unthreatened. Because they are pack animals, dogs are in nature used to sleeping closely with other dogs. If you only have one dog, he might appreciate sleeping in a round dog bed that has a cuddly cushion. These special cushions extend from the sides to form a protecting ring. Whether you choose a round dog bed or any other type, your dog will be grateful. |
