Bean Dog Bed
There are as many varieties of dog beds as there are dog breeds. Pet stores, Internet sites and pet supply catalogs have all kinds such as bean dog beds, pillows, baskets, hassocks, donut beds and the list goes on and on. Dog beds come in many different styles and are available ranging from the simplest types to the most luxurious ones you have ever set your eyes on; obviously this also means the prices on dog beds vary a lot too. If the truth be known, it is not absolutely essential to get your dog the most expensive dog bed that exists in the market, but something that is important is that the one you choose is well made and that will provide your dog with the maximum amount of comfort. Beanbags and hassock beds are like large pillows that are covered in cloth that dogs are really into such as lambs wool, fleece, or sheepskin. The nice thing about this type of dog bed is that when a dog lays in it, the beanbag moves and holds the dog's shape whenever he or she moves and changes positions. These pillows are sometimes filled with cedar chips and other materials that have a nice smell. A cedar filled beanbag or dog pillow can be put inside a basket and some dogs really like sleeping in these. You can also use a simple plastic laundry basket instead and place the pillow or beanbag in if your dog likes to chew at the basket. Whether you choose a bean dog bed or another type of bed, make sure it is something that makes your dog feel secure in and most importantly, make sure to place your dog’s bed away from noise, people, air drafts, and direct sunlight. |
