When your Cat is not clean

When your Cat is not clean

There might be several reasons for a cat to leave its footprints once and again out the service.

  • It suffers an alteration in behavior. In this case, everything is useless.
  • The key is in the service. Change to the following order, the location of the service, straw, amount of straw, change frequency.
  • The cat has a

ffectionate feelings. Males and females urinate all around the place to attract each other. With castration problem is solved.
  • The cat is irritated. It tries to defend its possessions with the smell, threatened by new furniture or unknown people, for example. Try to strengthen its individual consciousness giving it time and more attention, and at the same time trying him to disavow the dirty place. For this, after cleaning urine with stone soap and water or vinegar, spray with essence of melissa or lemon balm, a smell that almost every cat hates.
  • To insult, shout or rub their snout were the mess is, as done with dogs, will be useless and it will only disturb them even more.

Note: Do not use detergents with ammonia solutions. It contains a smell similar to that of cats urine and would make them spread their own smell on the cleaned spot again.

Castration: This surgery, as cruel as it may seem, is necessary when in their own tidy house they start leaving urine traces all over or when a female cat in heat is permanently disturbing one's night rest with a whining meow. Surgery is done using narcotics by a veterinary. The animal may be taken home after the operation. Left him rest for a while on his preferred corner until the effects of the narcotics disappear and beware that they do not try any silly acrobatic jumps. Beyond this I know any other special treat.

Male cats are castrated between the eighth and tenth month of life, once they have reached sexual maturity. Testicles will be amputated while in surgery.

Female cats are taken to surgery after their first heat, time when they are between 6 and 12 month of age. It can also be done after first time delivery. For female cats, surgery has to do with taking out their ovaries. And due to the fact that the cut is afterward sewn, one has to take the cat back to the veterinary after eight days to take of the stitches.

Sterilization: with this one only turns female and male cats infertile. This means that the spermatic conduct or the uterine trumps are separated from both cats, respectively.

After surgery sexual desire is still there with all its upsetting side effects ( urination, meowing, nervousness and wandering ), which pleases cats, but does not imply distress at home.

The pill: it is recommended only to interrupt heat in female breeding cats, but not to be administrated during a long period of time because it damages the matrix.
