Basics of Cat Training

In the past cats were only useful as mouse hunters and their job consisted in protecting warehouses from these pests. However, cats have won over our hearts because of all the affection and fun they offer. Remember, though that even though they live in our homes, eat the food we give them, and purr in our laps, they are still in part wild animals and this is what makes them so interesting as far as pets is concerned.

Kittens are very energetic, fun, and rascally, playful and loving. But they do not stay little for very long, and soon enough these little fur balls turn into elegant and athletic adult cats. Once they reach their adult age, they continue to enjoy our company, but they learn to live a life of their own as well, a lot of which is unknown to us the owners.

During the first weeks of a kitten's life, it becomes and gets used to our lifestyle and us. And this is when they discover that humans feed them and care for them etc and they reward us for this by turning into lifelong friends and including us in as part of their family. Cats love cuddling on our laps in the living room when we're gloomy and they love getting into games when we need some distraction etc. It's as if they knew what mood we're in.
