Taming a Feral Cat

Taming a feral cat is a labor from the very first moment your new cat steps inside your home, your whole family must be aware that you are bringing in a domesticated animal as well as a wild one. Probably one of the most known domesticated features of cats is that they love cuddling up to us on the couch, jumping on to our laps, eating the food we feed them etc, however, if we left them on their own they are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves which is one of the interesting things about them.

It's probable that the domesticated cats we have nowadays came from the wild African cat (Felix Sylvestris Lybica). African cats physically look very similar to domesticated cats and they also have the same tiger looking coats.

Cats have been living amongst people for over four thousand years, however, unlike dogs, cats have not changed much ever since they became domesticated. Dogs, on the other hand were domesticated by people that bred hundreds of different types, ranging from very small sizes to very large ones, which come with different types of eyes, ears, and coats. Basically all of the domesticated cats of nowadays are still their original size and they hardly differentiate from one another except for their colors and the length of their hair, and in some cases, because of their tail or the shape of their head; still, the differences are minimal.
