Siamese Cat Breed
Originally from Thailand it was introduced to the western world not so long ago. Siamese cats were brought to England by an English consul in Siam. This man received two pairs of these cats as a gift of the King of Siam in 1880. It is one of the oldest and best known cat breeds. This breed can easily be recognized by any cat lover around the world. One of its main characteristics is its cuneiform head with sharp triangular ears -which must form along with the its chin and seen from the front side, a perfect triangle- and its intense blue slanted eyes.
Siamese cats are a breed of cats that have a stylish and slim structure with a well-built elastic body. They can come in many sizes, being the most common the medium sized one.
These cats have a smooth fur coat along with a dense, shiny, short hair. It comes in colors such as cream, ivory and in white with spots on the ears, snout, hands, feet and tail that can be steel, chocolate, blue or lilac colored. They are considered very intelligent cats that can get very quickly accustomed to their owners habits.
