Short hair cats
Several races have this characteristic, whose most common stroke is the short hair. Its appearance can be from robust and rough to elegant, slim and delicate.
European short hair: It corresponds, among others, to the central European domestic cat. The body, of medium size, stands upon powerful legs with firm nails.
British short hair: a rough and chubby cat that is dearly loved in England, cradle of cat breeding. Wide tail and fine dense hair.
Carthusian: It is heavy and well-built, with wide, shiny and dark orange eyes.
Siamese: for most it still is the prototype of cat breeds with its agile and stylized body, its relatively thin legs, and its extended face with straight profile. It exhibits a clear body and tail, legs, ears and black mask. With the contrast of dark blue eyes, several chromatic varieties are admitted. The Siamese is famous for being affectionate, although when in heat they turn mad and develop a powerful voice.
Burmese: It is a little more robust cat than the Siamese. It is an elegant cat with a head like a wedge and an angle at the birth of its nose. Its hair is short and thin, and its original color is brown. Chromatic variants are valid.
Abyssinian: It looks like an old Egyptian cat taken out of a wall painting. Its hair is of a color similar to that of a wild rabbit. It is tamed and affectionate.
Havana: A special American brown hair breed. It is easy to confuse it with the Burmese.
Rex: every Rex cat has a frizzle, undulated or velvety hair. They are of medium size, slim and have long legs.
