Semi Long Hair Cats
Several races belong to this group. As a matter of fact they show a dense hair, they are different from the Persian cats in that they do not have the typical flatted face.
Burma: Longer body, head, nose and ears than the Persian. Its skin color is clear with obscure markings at the head, ears, tail and legs. Its most peculiar characteristic are the white "shoes" over its paws. The eyes are of the color of a marvelous blue sapphire, the tail is thick and the skin is easy to take care of.
Van Turk cat: a very temperamental cat with a special inclination for water. It swims and rolls on the snow with great joy. His body is white with red – orange stains in the face and a thick red tail.
Wild Norwegian. It is the only breed that has acclimatized to the gelid temperatures of Norway. Upon its robust and agile body stands a triangular head with a straight nose, its hair drops like a coat that starts on the back of the animal and spreadsover the side until forming some kind of "breast strap". The tail is long and thick. All colors are valid.
Somalis it is a recently new breed with same hair color as of the Abyssinian, and green or amber eyes.
Mainecoon one of the oldest American breeds similar to the wild Norwegian cat. All colors are valid.
Balinese: A long-hair Siamese cat with a slender and slim body with fine silky skin.
