Ragdoll Cat

Origin
Goes by this name because when they are carried or lays on something, it relaxes all their muscles and looks like a ragdoll.

Can be a giant cat though his growth is very slow and has excessive tolerance to pain, they can even be operated without any anesthesia. Ann Baker developed this breed in Riverside, United States.

Characteristics
The head is round with a Bermudian profile, bigger in males. Wide between the eyes and ears with a break. Medium size nose with low nostrils. Large, vivid blue ovals eyes. Wide set and moderately slanted. Medium-sized ears tilted forward.

Ragdolls are large. They can measure up to 85 centimeters long and 38 tall. Hind legs longer than front. The round front paws present white spots called mittens and short boots in the rear. The tail is long, with full plum.  

They reach their total growth at three years. The kittens are born almost white, but every change of coating they turn darker in ears, face, paws and tail.

Colors are: seal point, lilac point, with dark spots over mask, ears and legs except on the mittens and boots.

Very amicable and playful, not impressed by any person and it's not afraid to confront anything beside lacks instinct of preservation.

Fast learner and must never be hit for behaving bad, only talk to them strongly when they are misbehaving.

They imitate conducts, not only of their owner but people from the family. They have very deep dream and don't pay attention to any noise that does not concern them. 

They don't demonstrate any signs of pain and apathy, which makes it hard for veterinarians to treat them and find the cause of their discomfort.
