Loving Cat?

They are auto sufficient animals, but that doesn't mean they are not capable of having an emotional relationship with their owner. They express their love differently than dogs because they are different. Dogs are more effusive showing their love by running, licking; cats meow and rub against them to show their love.

Even though there is no proof that cats cant love the same way as humans, they are very sociable animals that are constantly looking for their owner and give them demonstration of affection and fondness.

Even some cats become real close to some member of the family dedicating great part of their time to them. Many cats die of pain when some "member" of the family goes away to study abroad or move to another city or when their owner dies, they die shortly after.

Unlike dogs or other animals, cats shouldn't be considered "property of", but rather think that they are a companion that we share the house with and have chosen that style of living for a mutual benefit. Any person who has had some contact with cats will know that they know when their owner is arriving home, or how to open the door to go out, scratch the window so they can get in the house o similar things that makes us suppose they have great intelligence, even some sort of special intuition. An indicator of great intelligence is precaution; other animals are not so clever to determine where or when they are in danger.

Treacherous?
Cats are distrustful animals that don't accept at first any stranger approach them and invade their territory, some time and respect is needed to gain a cats confidence.
