Go to the veterinarian within 24 hours. Does he lack coordination and loses equilibrium?
Does he not eat?
Is he sick?
Does he fall or move in circles? YES
Infection in the internal ear
Go to the veterinarian NOW Hemorrhage in the ear - Press both sides of the ear with absorbent dressings during several minutes.

Swollen ear
The most probable reason is the existence of an abscess. Go to the Vet's Office within 24 hours. The shakes of head can be due to an abscess, allergy or infection, or the presence of mites or strange bodies. Shakes of head - Explore the auditory conduit. If you see any strange body- as for example a seed of herb- try to extract it with a tweezers or with the fingers. (If you see some round purple thing, don't try to extract it. It is a benign tumor; it needs surgery).
- If you cannot remove the object and a veterinarian does not find in this moment, spill mineral oil in the ear to help it come out by itself and to prevent it from damages produced in the sensitive tissue that covers the auditory conduit.
