General Aspect and Mobility
The manifest changes in the aspect, for example the wounds, needs immediate attention. Another disturbances, like broken teeth and bleeding nails or in poor condition, are symptoms of possible injuries. The general aspect and the mobility of your cat will provide good keys for you to verify the importance of the injuries.
- Are there visible wounds? YES First Aids
- Is there blood in some place? YES
- Look for the origin of it and give first-aids
- Whitish gums? Doesn't he stand-up? Is he wavering or falling down? Does he have a swelling stomach and is restless? Has he suffered a collapse? YES
- Shock
- Go the veterinarian NOW
- Unusual movements of the chest? YES Painful or injured
- Go to the veterinarian NOW
- Does he have muscular spasms?, Does he move very slow? YES
- Pain or injured? YES Go to the veterinarian the same day
- Does he have a very opened eyes? YES
- Pain or apprehended?
- Go to the veterinarian the same day
- Does he have some bundle or swelling injuries? YES
- Go to the veterinarian the same day
- Do fibers of the mouth or of the anus hang? YES
- Go to the veterinarian the same day
- Does he have an arched loin? Does he have the head inclined? YES
- Pain, Go to the veterinarian the same day
- Does he walk in circles, doesn't he stand-up or lie down? YES
- Go to the veterinarian the same day.
- Does he have inflexibility, trembles, or their legs agitated? YES
- Take the cat to a quiet room, go to the veterinary the same day
- Is he convulsiing? YES
- Phone to the veterinary for advice
- Does he react in exaggerated way to the light, to the sound and physical contact? Does it not find any comfortable position? Does he have some broken tooth? Does he move with difficulty or does he have anchylosis? Does he limp? YES
- A complete recognition. Phone the veterinarian for advice.
Smell: The unusual smells indicate that the cat is injured or sick. Be alert before any change that is not a normal thing.
- Does he dismiss a sweeten smell on having breathed? YES
- Renal problems. Go the veterinary within 24 hours
- Does he smell as smoke of tobacco? Antifreeze? Tar? YES
- Possible poisoning. Phone to the veterinarian for advice
- Do the anal glands smell him? YES.
- Look for possible injured. Complete recognize.
- Has tracks of urine or dregs in the hair? YES
- Look for possible injuries. Complete recognition.
