Domestic or pedigreed cat?

All cats are beautiful, whatever its origin. One does not need a family tree nor a careful parents selection to have a colorful animal with yellow eyes, as amber, or an intense green and pretty fur. If this is about the creature, pedigreed distinction is unnecessary. The domestic cat is an ordinary cat that has not been raised under any rules – alley cat. They may come in any color, they can be slim or chubby, strong-tempered or thoughtful; what matters - in other words - is their own, individual habits.

The pedigreed cat is the result of a large genetic selection. Breeding cats systematically is practiced in the whole world since one hundred years ago, and for an animal like this one has to pay many hundreds of dollars. Basically, the different cat breeds differ less among themselves than those of dogs. In general, it could be said that Persians are more playful than Siamese. On the other side, one has to dedicate more time in caring a long-hair cat's hair.
