Devon Rex Cat Breed

This race is originally from Devon, England since 1960. It is a family of cats that originated as a result of a spontaneous mutation coming from a plain cat's dominant gene that featured recessive traits.

Devon Rex cat features a triangular shaped head, little nose big oblique ears, light colored eyes and jutted out cheek bones. Its aspect inspired the creator of "Gitzmo," from Gremlins, the film.

It has a skinny body with a bowed back, long legs and a thin tail covered with curly hair. Adult female Devon cats can weigh up to 3 or 3.5 kilograms; as for the adult male cat can weigh up to 4 or 4.5 kilograms. Its fur consists of a thin, silky, and curly fuzz that covers all its body. They can come in any color, all varieties of white included.

Devon cats are very sweet, noble, independent, playful, sensible, and affectionate animals. They are very much appreciated by followers who are allergic to cat hair.
