Cats and Plants

If you love cats but also love plants, there is a conflict of interests. Cats usually are the origin of many problems with neighbors, because it's irritating to see how a cat chooses where our favorite flowers are to do their needs, overall if the cat is not ours.

To spray the cat several times with plain water and it might work, it acts as an effective repellent.

You can also acquire special repellents that are very annoying and dissuasive, but you have to repeat the application frequently.

There is a non chemical solution, that consists on planting two types of shrubs, the cat mint (nepeta cataria) or the valerian (valeriana officinalis), on the parts in which you allow them to be, and rue (ruta graveolens) on the areas "completely forbidden".
