Cat collar

If your cat is going to be allowed outside then you will want to put a collar on it. Putting a collar on your cat will ensure that it will be easily identified and in the event that your cat becomes lost returned to you quickly.

If you do put a collar on your cat make sure to only use those collar made specifically for them. It is best to put an identification tag on the collar with your name phone number and even address if possible. Cat collars are elastic so that if your cat's collar was to become caught while climbing your cat would be able to free itself easily or at least pull the collar off over its head.

There are all different kinds of cat collars available with a variety of both colors and designs. Some cat collars are florescent allowing your cat to be seen in the dark.
