Cat Cleanness and Grooming
One of the features that are more attractive of cats as pets is how clean they are. But the popular believe that cats know how to care for themselves, is not quite exact.
When little, its the mother who teaches them how to clean themselves, but independently of the time they use for it; there are three reasons for which the sessions of embellishment must be a joined routing between cat and owner.
Affective Bonds
In first place, the embellishment forms an important part of the affective bond, and for most of the cats its, or will be in time, a pleasant experience.
With it, he remembers the care and attention given to him by its mother.
In second place, it eliminates the dead hair that in other way will end up as balls in the stomach or intestine of the animal, this is especially important with long hair cats.
In third place, it brings the opportunity for inspecting the state of the hair, ears, eyes, nose and claws.
The embellishment is specially necessary in spring and at the beginning of summer, when most cats (safe the Rex and the Sphinx ) change hair, almost always in locks.
For those more preoccupied by the cleanness, frequently grooming the cat means a way to avoid for there being hair everywhere.
The embellishing techniques here described make reference to the usual cleansing of cats and not to those specifically done when participating in exhibitions.
You only need a brush with long and soft natural bristle; those for babies are ideal, and a metal comb with thin pricks.
