Cat carriers

For trips, visits to the veterinarian or to put them somewhere before the presence of people or other animals where they wont be well received; it is indispensable to have an animal carrier.

If we want to take them for a stroll, it is best if we accustom them from a young age. Domestic cats don't like unknown territories or change places even if it's for a little while. That is why, it is best if they travel with a carrier. That way, we can avoid any unnecessary scratching problems going out to the veterinarian, barber shop or any other place.

Tricks for using the carrier

• If we leave it someplace where they can easily reach it, they can go inside it or look at it as an normal object.
• It is not a bad idea to play with it sometimes, so they can loose any fear when they get in any other occasion.
• There are some cats that use it as a bed if we set it up nicely.

Toys, brushes, combs, collars and more
To complete all housing elements cats need, take in consideration the acquisition of the following products:

• Toys: there are of all kinds. Felt mice, balls with sleigh-bells inside, rubber toys, toys with smell, etc.
• Brushes or combs: generally there are bristle brushes, wire-pin brushes, fine-toothed combs or you can also use a glove which also allows you to caress the cat while combing its hair.
• Collar: it is recommendable for them to use a collar where it has some identification with the name and phone number of the owner and one of the side be made out of rubber so it the can gets tangled somewhere, it can easily be broken.
