It's best that a cat have its own bed. This will help the cat feel safer the first nights it has to spend away from its previous family. Cats really love "Cat cradles" as well. This is a bed that is covered in a special material and you can hang it on top of a radiator and it gives a lot of warmth to the cat while it sleeps.
