| I had drawn up some very nice building plans for a cat enclosure and had found someone to the building for me. There are some very nice duplexes on the market but I decided against them in favor of having two separate cat houses. The first night after the cathouses were done one of my cats was outside my bedroom window meowing and asking me to let it in to sleep with me on my bed. Well I didn't know what to do. I don't know if I made the right decision and all the work that I put into drawing up the building plans for the cat enclosure now seems like a waste. One of my cats stays in its cat house and the other comes to my bed at night. During the day they are both outside and play together in the cat enclosure, keeping each other company. One thing that I am sure about is that Cedar wood is great for building cat enclosures. But even if you don't choose cedar wood or any wood for that matter, I will tell you right now that if you don't begin with a good plan, you will have problems. With a good plan you can work out a good budget to be sure that you will be able to finish what you start. Keep in mind that whatever budget you are working with, in the end you will go over. It is almost one of the surest things in life. You plan, you prepare, you do your best to save and scrimp on the pennies but still you will go over. However if you get a good start and play it smart then hopefully you won't go over too much. And you will be able to finish building lovely cat enclosures that hopefully you and your felines will enjoy. |
