Bermudian Cats Breed

Origin
Although it is not clear where they are from, it is believed to have originated from Burma and were developed from the Kittah priests.

This breed arrived form France with officials from this country because these priests gave some specimens away as presents for their appreciation for their support during a religious conflict.

A legend tells that two Europeans saved a temple during the beginning of the century that was being plundered, so in appreciation they sent them from that place a couple of cats to France which only survived the female which gave birth to two kittens: the precursory breed in Europe.

This breed was recognized in France in 1925 and in the United States in 1966.
