Other manifestations, although less frequent, are tonsil hyperemia, diarrhea -- sometimes with streaks of blood, nervous manifestations in the form of hyperexcitability. An obstacle that you must get over during his recuperation is corneal edema (blue eye), a frequent sequel in infection, which presents two to three weeks after contagion. This corneal opacity can be unilateral or bilateral, but it is usually transitory and, very rarely, produces permanent vision loss. All dogs must be vaccinated at around 45 or 60 days after birth (according to the vet's criteria). At the same time, they have to be vaccinated against distemper, and revaccinated again against distemper according to your vet's indications.
