Canine Ascites in Dog

It is the hydropic swelling of the abdomen. It is usually a frequent complication of a liver, kidney, heart, abdominal tuberculosis or parasite infestation disease. When shaking the sick animal's abdomen, you notice the swooshing of the liquid, and sometimes that quantity of liquid can even put pressure on the diaphragm, producing serious respiratory problems. This must be attended as soon as possible in a veterinary clinic, where they will see what specific treatment will help the dog.
