Dog and cat allergens within the home

Dog and cat allergens at home

Studies have shown that it is completely impossible to avoid pet allergens completely. These studies have shown that people that do not even own a pet may still suffer from allergies and especially so for those who live in neighborhoods or communities with a lot of animals.

The highest concentration of allergens is found on couches and sofas, which seems to be pet's choice to spend their time and in many cases upholstery is difficult to clean. However, for those people that do not own a pet, simply coming into the house from having been out, causes pet allergens to come into the house.
